I had some trouble trying to post my colorado trip report and just noticed the same thing with the twin cylinder compressor tear down post. Anybody else having this problem? I think it has to do with the number of pictures posted per post because I finally got my thread to work by breaking it up into 3 posts with a maximum of 7 pictures per post.

Anybody else having problems?

I have been seeing a lot of threads pop up with just being blank.

If I put too many pics in a post and hit preview it will time out and just show me a white page.

i had this problem with my first aid kit. there seem to be lots of phantom threads. they show up on the front page, and in the search, but are no where to be found in the forum itself.

I think there is a picture limit set that didn't used to be there.... I had a similar issue when posting some pics in the garage. I'd Check with Lance, Steve.

hmm my compressor post dosnt have any pictures though. i tried a bunch of time to get it to work and i figured id leave it and see if the txt showed up this morning. ill attach my post here so that others can experiment with a disapearing post. (granted that something in the post makes it disapear)

i got this pump after seeing it at pismo about a year ago. its been very nice and used alot. its really a shade faster then a mv-50 or tsunami 1050 (little red pumps) but its also smaller. well i ended up doing 2.25 trucks in a row last night so i figured it was time to take it apart and fix anything overly chineased inside.

quality:
-fake cylinder fins
-crud in the bottom end
-no need for the air holes on the back side of the switch
-cylinder head screws loose

design:
-large bore for the short stroke
-very large intake and exhaust for the cylinder size.
-one valve on the piston and one in the head

i ended up stripping it down after finding out the fins were doing nothing. i can imagine this will mean better cooling but also exposure to the extremely hot surfaces. the significant thing i found other then the efficient design is that this thing is tiny after you strip all the fake junk off it. its a good candidate for installing behind a interior panel.
heres a video of it stripped down

found some clues on the issue. i just posted twice and got the same above post to work. the trick was to post a small one sentence post, then edit and paste the full large post in.
i havnt dont much testing but that might have something to do with it....large posts...

For now try to keep your posts small, and you can try to edit things back in the way Troy has demonstrated. Hopefully we will get this bug fixed very soon, Thanks!!

Sorry about this guys, it appears one of the anti-spam plugin was causing the db to do weird things.

Gotta keep ya guys on your toes sometimes :P
