Geology field trip: Rainbow Basin

I went on a trip to Rainbow Basin, out near Barstow... I bet there are some good trails out there too! Geology trips always make me want to go wheelin' now lol. :shake:

We got a flat tire on the 'road' out to the syncline... I was the one who noticed it... and I helped change it too...

You mean the syncline? lol. Ya it looks pretty cool. The syncline doesn't look like all that but when you know the geology behind it... :P

Haha thanks! Its a bit off the beaten path... on the road out past the mortuary. It looks so much like the hills have eyes that when we were camping we were joking that the ppl in the mortuary were gonna come get us. :P
