Let's hear the details man, cough up details and/or pics already! :wrenchin:

*ToyotaSwapsOnly doing it, or just parts?? I want to see this when it's done, I need the excuse to head out towards Sac-town anyhow.
**Yeah, it's sort-of still a small community and a small world, your topic came up while we were at my buddy's shop recently.

Hmmm...someone said he was considering a swap. Would've been nice to do a side by side.

I wanted to get it done, but I put lockers/4.88s in and my fan bracket crapped out again so i just had my timing belt done, since it needed to be done. I just cant justify getting it done when my 3vz has such low mies and now it goes up hills nicely. Someday though, that 3vz will get tired. :D

As long as you can cruise up 80 pulling 3k and stay above 55mph you're good in my mind. We just finished (prior to my getting this cold-bug thing) a 500 mile round trip up through the Sierras again over Thanksgiving. Between the big storm and all the cold and rain mine ran just fine (knock on wood).

**Tell me you kept the 4.56's b/c if/when you go to a 3.4 you'll want them w the 33's instead to keep the 3.4 revving within it's prime.

Well, I had 4.10s in it originally. and I figured I could solve the problem by just going with a bigger tire ( 34x12.50R15s ) Plus, I really want to wait to do the 3.4 swap when i have my own garage. I feel as if i'd take more pride in the swap and not rush it.
