1981 22R Weber Carb/Choke problem

i just recently got a 81 toyota 4x4 with a 22r for 500 bucks, it would run but had to poor gas down carb, so i put a weber carb on it and it cranks up but have to let warm up about 15 minutes like choke isnt working. i ran hot wire to choke and was wondering if i could switch it to manual choke, i wasw also wondering if any 1 new what the bench set is on a weber, thanks
