Post up your loot you received for whatever holiday you celebrate!

April and I just did stockings for each other and capped it at under $100 this year. She was awesome and got me 3 bombers of different beer, Jerky from Off Road Jerky (http://offroadjerky.com), lottery scratchers, and gift card to bevmo :) Can't get much better than that for a stocking!

Kids got me a skatedboard helmet and a set of knee/elbow/wrist pads, so that I can go to the skate park with Jack

Got money from my folks and grandparents and was really surprised that my parents got me a Garmin Nuvi 1490t!!!

The kids made out like f'ng pirates! I'll post a before and after pic of the living room once I upload them, it's hilarious! This is the first year that Jack was really excited about xmas, he was up and got his sister up at 5:30!!!! (April and I went to bed at 1am) They also stayed up till about 10pm last night. they wore us out!!!

Post up you holiday loot!

I didn't get much this year, because money is tight.

From my folks: A pair of earrings, a ring that used to be my aunts (it barely fits) and a $25 gift card to Kohl's.

From other family: $50 from my grandparents that's supposed to go to something 'practical', a set of soap and stuff and a nail kit from my Aunt, and a really cool survival bracelet from my uncle that he MADE.

He sells them for a really really good price (I think it's $10 for this one, he sells another design for $5)

From my bf: idk yet. I will tomorrow! :P

Alexus and I agreed no gifts this year (after last year's multi-thousand dollar extravaganza), we bought a Wii right before thanksgiving, so that was pretty much our present to ourselves.

my parents got us a bunch of gift cards, and some travel toiletry bags (REALLY nice!)

for my birthday/x-mas, my parents agreed to supply power to the garage so i can run a welder and other power tools.

we had 5 people over for x-mas dinner, traditional enchiladas! we always have people who have no where else to go and no means to provide a big dinner for themselves. friends of the friendless... haha we had a fricken blast! great food, great people, that's what x-mas is all about!

Our family is growing, so we decided to do a low budget Christmas this year. I did splurge on my nieces and nephew though.

Anyways, I got two sets of camp cookware, a cool trash can, and some other misc camp gear from the family. I told them I wanted to start building up my camping stuff.

I bought myself Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii as an early present, and I also bought myself a 2000 4Runner 3 days ago. :D

Pretty much the same thing with us - except Liz got a new Sony Vaio last week, which I'm counting as a present. Our real gift to ourselves this year is travel and relocation, I think we've clocked about 7k miles exploring since we left in mid-November

I wish I could have convince my better half and parents no presents this year but no of course not...

Parents got me some air tools, hand tools, and cloths which are mostly stuff to keep me warm winter wise since the shop is not what you call toasty in the morning or late afternoon, and one automotive thing for myself, or the truck that is, Staun Deflators.

Better half got me some cloths, a therapeutic wrap thingy that I can either freeze or heat up depend on the pain, its actually freakin awesome and after work today I feel I may be using it when I get home, also there is something coming in the mail too.

I got myself a Sport Hood and Forced myself to make my truck 4WD again (granted I was tired as shit when I did it.)

Nice! We got our Wii along with buying one for my parents. Funny b/c the presents were near each other, I never picked it up, just figuring it was the Vans shoes I'd been wanting. LOL.

Shop tools, iTunes cards, clothes for Sara, cash to go and grab some new bdu's at the local base since all of my old one's finally bit the dust, a new Victorinox knife, pj's, and a pole leash (modified kayak paddle leash) for creek, kayak, and boat fishing so I don't loose another carbon setup. Also, depending on what plays out in the next 30-40 days with work and if I can get time off is some cold hard cash waiting to be used for a flight down to Guadalajara so I can go with the wife and baby to our house in Chapala.

*It's a tough call not wanting to use cash right now and throw down for a 3rd gen runner versus having the money there to cover whatever's left of the medical bills from the car accident and possibly a house payment. (*Still not ready to consider letting the guy's insurance settle out with me. I'm still hurting bad.)

Actually the past this bottle of Crown and the last one I got didn't have the little purple bag? I think it was because it was this cheap set with a couple glasses or something?
IDK.

And there is a bottle of scotch somewhere but its not mine.

I'll post up a thread about once I get some good pictures in a few days. Right now, it's really dirty with all the snow we've had. :D

Some details though: It is a super clean green sport model with a 5spd, leather, 4x4, V6, just over 80k, no rust, spotless carfax, one owner, and all maintenance was done at the Toyota dealer. It even has a Toyota battery and oil filter in it. :D I'll post up pics and a thread in a few days. There are a few minor things I've got to fix, but I'm super happy!

Dan, that's awesome!

big question is..... Have you put in for your 2.5 weeks of vacation time at the end of September so that you can drive it out to Pismo Jamboree 2011?

We had a low key Christmas as well. The wife and I purchased a new computer and a Kodak waterproof HD camera on cyber-Monday for ourselves. Our son got a lot of gifts from the grandparents, aunts and uncles, so he had a mountain of wrapping paper when he was done.We Skyped the whole thing to the family in Oregon, so that was wonderful to share with them.

The best part of the day was going to the glacier and sledding, then we walked out on the lake to an iceberg and took some family pics.

Here's some videos with the new camera.

Kevin got me a new seat post for my bike. It will now STAY where I put it. :D

Kevin's folks made me a big gift basket that's pretty much 'movie night' themed. His grandparents gave me a shawl and a pretty bracelet.

Yay Christmas! :)

Hee-hee-hee!!

Just opened up a box that was sitting downstairs from UPS today that I didn't see.

It's the big sized Tortuga Rum Cake!! One of my buddies overseas knows how I love these and got it as a gift for us. The reason it took so long was it got hung up in customs..lol.

I was VERY fortunate and got a lot of great loot this year. One of my favorites so far (outside of COD Black Ops for the PS3) has been one of the gifts from Miss Rocko....http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k112/04RockoTaco/Guns/DSCN0192.jpg
Chinese Made Norinko SKS 7.62x39. Shoots like a dream. She is definitely a keeper. One of the guys at work wanted to know with Christmas gifts like that if she had a sister, and if not, that I better marry her soon, or he would. :hillbill:

I have been trying to figure out what i like best.. I got the version that comes with a special classic controller, and that works ok.. I also tried playing with the wiimote and nunchuck which also works pretty well, need to turn the sensitivity down a bit though :P I need to try it with a gamecube controller, just havent gotten around to trying that yet. It is compatible with all these though

:D Late delivery gift #2..brand new Cetacea Key Buckle holder dealy-o that also matches the dog leash clip. I was told it's a "promo/limited" deal that they don't really make them for everyone. (Friend's a Vet @ a big Zoo and got it for me.)
If I throw the proper key ring onto it it also serves as a spare leash part that can go on my wrist and also be used with some of my rescue and dive gear..not that I've used any of that stuff in the last 4 years. :spit: :D
