I noticed that (Bruce's or Bob's) 4Runner looks like it might have a rear mounted fuel tank now and might not have the factory one anymore.
Pic I saw but no write-up?? I'm thinking this is Bob's??

We've a customer building up his '94 and I'm wanting to see pics and examples.

Here's the catch though..

It has to pass C.A.R.B. not just now, but keep in standard for a while to come as this is going to be a play vehicle as well as a rolling advertisement and likely at least a (semi)daily-driver.

What did you do/use? (IE: Ford Tank, Custom..)
What is the capacity? *Preferably at least 16-18 gallons.
Amount of time spent making it pass inspection and any tips for that?

That's a picture of Bruce's 4Runner. It's a Ford F150 tank.

Yup, glad I could help. Knowing the tank came from an F-series helped in my search. I ran a search for "F150 tank" or something and that came up. I don't know how I would have found the thread without knowing what the tank came out of. :hillbill:

LOL..I used fuel cell tank relocation Bob and Bruce.

Man this newfound Fatherhood's sapping some of my insight, I must be tired b/c that wording you used is just too easy. :spit:

Now off to car-part.com to run the guy an estimate w/ part costs. Thanks again man.
