9-18 inches predicted in the mts by saturday. we will have to make some alternate plans in the event of too much snow. leading a group including smaller rigs up dishpan in 18" would be crappy. JB backwards still sounds good in 18" :)

Dishpan would be downright scary in 18" of snow..

You wouldn't see half the rocks on the JB in 18" of snow!

haha yeah i know. ive sworn off snow runs in the past, but i cant give up a day wheeling. as the day gets closer we can guage things better. if its tons of snow there is always a high desert run.

On another note.. if dishpan isn't doable I say we hit 3N16 near the dump and just go snow bashing.

Uhh.. I wasn't talking Jacoby. 3N16 is the fireroad that goes from the dump all the way to green valley road.

Never been on Jacoby. We could try it if nothing else works.

yeah i looked at the map...i just think of it since we always take 3n16 to get there and then dump back onto 3n16 after

watch for updates. current snow reports are lower then expected. the meeting spot may change to reflect a dishpan attempt. pm me if you are interested in going and i will make sure you know the meeting spot by friday night.

Shouldn't we meet closer to dishpan if we're going to try it first?
Meeting all the way on the other side of the lake would take us an hour to get to dishpan. And starting dishpan at noon doesn't sounds ideal. Especially if were going into uncharted snow banks.

haha just waiting for more weather reports to come in. i WANT to do dishpan, but if this thing dumps it might be more fun to get our challenge on jacoby and then just play on the fire roads

Yeah I think Dishpan would be pretty freaky in too much snow... That's the one we did in August, yes? The waterfall scared me as it was... and I never even stayed in the truck for the ride down :P
