SOLD

for sale is a JDM inclinometer / altimeter with the electrical pigtail for the lights - $80 shipped

The only difference that the JDM part makes is that the altimeter reads in meters instead of feet. Both pitch and roll work fine and can be adjusted to match your vehicle using the knobs on the front. When I bought it the bracket didn't really work with the 4runner, so I modified it a bit. Mounting can be done with 3M double side tape - if you've never used it before you'll be surprised how strong it will hold, this is the stuff they use to mount body kits on with. Or you can mark and drill the 2 holes in the bracket, though you may need to use a 90 degree drill to get the bit started. This is what I did and the dash is sheet metal beneath the surface, so there is something for the screw to grab onto. If you really want to go nuts, drill a hole and use a nut and bolt to anchor it down. Here are the pics I took when I removed it so you can see how it's put on.

I had it angled a bit towards the driver with the right side hanging over the dash a bit. This works well with it sitting in the dash pocket since the bezel on this is a bit higher on the right side than the left. It also leaves about a 1/8" - 1/4" gap between the bottom of the rear cover and dash on the right side. My suggestion would be to place it, fully assembled, and position it on the dash to where you want it before carefully removing the rear cover to mark the drill holes - or just use 3M double sided tape, this stuff:

It looks like we're gonna be in Eugene OR for awhile - wife just accepted a job and I have one definite + a few leads on other stuff.

Shipping should only be a couple bucks through USPS since it doesn't weigh much and isn't very large. If you want me to hand it off to family I could probably drop the price $10
