View Full Version : Tacoma dual case adapter

Bought this off of apimpdad about 6 months ago and have since decided to go another route. It came off of a first gen tundra 4.7 auto. Will fit 95.5-04 Tacomas, 96-02 4Runners and 00-06 Tundras.
You will need a new gear set (2.28 or 4.7) as the ones in it are chipped.
The adapter itself is fine though.

You may also need a different coupler which can be purchased from inchworm.

awesome! glad its going to someone who will use the heck out of it. there is a couple IFS duals out here that dont get much use.

Yeah, I am stoked!
I drove a buddy's 1st gen with duals and was HOOKED!
I was like "where has this setup been all my life!"

Its going to be a slow time coming but I hope to have the set up ready to go in by the end of summer.

Also the same buddy is going to help me trim and tub out the firewall to fit 37s, I don't plan on running that right off the bat yet but it will be reassuring for when I am on 35s that there will be the least rubbing possible :-)
