This weekend I lifted my buddies 3rd gen and we put my old tires on his rig. So he is running 2.5" toytec spacers up front with custom built spacers in the rear (I build the rear lift) and 285 BFG MT's tell me what you think.

Aww, how cute..you guys are like twins. It looks good though. Thats alot of weights on the rear tire. I like how you trimmed your front bumper, looks better than stock.

Good looking rigs! Just one question: how's your buddy running 285's on stock wheels? I'm seeing a lot more of that lately. Shaved upper a's? Wheel spacers?

Yeah I chose the spacer (hub adapter) option. I used to run 285 Interco SSR's which measured 33.9x11.4 and caused some serious upper a arms rubbing. I now run a set of 295 Nitto Terra's and a set of 285 Cooper STT's. I did find with the spacers it made the tire edge sit level with the fender which is a nice look.

Yeah Im not a fan of rubbing at all but some time you just cant escape it, I have trimmed the fender flattened the pinch weld and smoothed everything out and they work well. Though after a battle btwn my SSR's and the drive side fender it has never lined up right since, and that is the only side that rubs.
