How many of you guys have LinkedIn accounts?

I don't know how successful it'll be, but I'm trying to use any extra tool I can to help my job search.. so I signed up on there.

I'm flying high with my 3 connections right now... lol.

It sucks and is pointless in my friends and my experience. Worth as much as a careerbuilder or monster account. Hoof it man, hoof it, go old fashioned. Networking has it's place but I've yet to have any old colleagues or coworkers find me something.

Facebook's done more for me as far as interviews than anything else.

I don't think it helps much, but there was a thread on pirate a few months ago and there were a lot of people who said they hire from linkedin and got jobs from there.
