2011 9th Annual Pismo Jamboree (Sept. 24th and 25th, 2011)

[Good Times]

Thank you everyone for all of the good times we had at the 2011 9th Annual Pismo Jamboree. With limited publicity we had a great turn out of over 60 vehicles show up to the event! 54 vehicles were present for the morning photo op. Hopefully others that begin to get home or have arrived will post photos soon.

Both Chris and I are very grateful for all of your support in attending this year's Pismo Jamboree. We hope to hear all of the great stories that were exchanged during the saturday evening camp fires. Please feel free to share your experiences here.

Just got home. Got the Toy hauler put away, Dually put to bed, and unloaded all the stuff. Whew! what a great weeekend! Great to see some old friends and make new ones. Glad to be able to help people out that got stuck and get them where they needed to be. Hanging out in the dunes watching jumping was awesome!


Big props to Chris and Lance for putting on a great event this year!!!! It was awesome to see it get back to what its really about, getting to see and hang with friends and see Toyotas from all walks of life. and just have a good time. Hope everyone made it home safely!!! It was a challenge towing the Truggy behind my Tacoma!!!! See you guys soon!

awesome trip! we are so glad we ended up going!

i didnt get much in the way of pics, but i did get a couple of hours of vid with the go pro. once i find some free time to edit them, ill upload them here. they came out great.


only complaint: driving to the bathrooms SUCKS. how about next year we try for a hundred yards instead of 1000?

awesome event. i had a blast. i too wish the bathroom was closer for the GF lol i didnt mind cuz i had the quad. she didnt wanna learn how to ride it. but she could drive the runner tho.

Thanks to everyone who came out and had some fun! It was great to see old friends and make new ones. Thanks to Lance too for all the help, it truly would never happen if it wasn't for Lance! Also, thanks to Brandon, Ralph, Nick, and Paul for coming out early, helping set up, holding down the fort on Thursday, and all your help all weekend.

Even though I was without my 4runner and had to use the stock grocery-getter tacoma, I still had a blast! (I stilled missed my 4runner though) It's truly one of the great things about Pismo (Oceano) and this event, you can come in whatever and still have a blast, even if you don't have something to drive.
