FWIW some of you know what we've been dealing with at home with my wife's father. Well, this past week he lost his battle with Parkinson's. We're dealing with things little by little and at this point honestly, playing around in an online forum is far from my priorities.
Basically, it's hard to try to play around and have fun, those of you that have gone through similar will understand.
I/We'll check in every so often and you all take care.
Regards Everyone, take care and always tell those you love that you do "Love them" because you never know when life will suddenly change.

Sorry to hear this Shane. My prayers for you and your wife's family. Death is a difficult time, I went through this situation 2 years ago with my own mother. We'll be here when you are ready, hang in there bud.

Thanks all, from all of us. FWIW I almost threw everything into the Runner Friday Night for a bombing run down U.S.1 to join @ Pismo, but in the end, needed to be here.
We'll get stuff sorted out soon enough, things like the house, etc are all small things in the end. Then we gotta figure out a sitter situation for the next two months since the Lil'One's still too young to start Pre-School. Once all that's sorted then i'll look at us at least getting some local trips, etc in and start de-compressing and finding "us" time again. After 10 years of stuff, and the last 4 being the worst, I am somewhat glad he's now in a better place and we have the chance to move on with life (as we knew it) again.
Ultimately, it's the speaking and typing about this that gets to me, like right now. :( Sniffle..

Thanks everyone. I'm just lurking a bit on the three forums and replying a lot less.
Took the 4Runner out today and gave it a wash and then took Lil'One out for a 1 mile walk over to the new elementary school here for some playground time. Great fun but the memories started surfacing and I don't want her seeing me sad. Started remembering trips with Pop's and this time I felt pride instead of loss. One day at a time as they say.
FWIW the next 7 weeks are shot to heck as far as free time but we are gonna try to do a San Diego run before the end of December or January and we'll post the topic if there's some play time involved. :D
