hey brody here. i bought my 06 4.0L SR5 back in 08 and have been working on paying it off for the most part but couldn't resist makin a change here and there. so i recently had Iron Pig off Road instal a stage three ICON suspension lift. they did a good job but i got the feeling like they just wanted to sell me shit all the time instead of encouraging a quality progression of small steps here and there. however they did hook me up with a guy who did had them knock out a SAC and a laundry list of other things and from there i was hooked.

near future plans Shrockworks Bull bar will be coming in the next month or so i hope then tires and rock sliders. i have found every thing that i want for my short term goals except a rear bumper I'm hoping to fab one my self but I'm low on experience. my pops is more than capable but he's in colorado so I'm hoping to find someone that can be of assistance. having him do it would give me an excuse to go home tho so a bit undecided on that one.

i am moving north of los angeles in march 2012 and the above mods will be done in time to hit up some of californias lesser traveled roads come this next summer so good to meet you guys and please hit me up if you have any suggestions or advice.

Sean is our resident badass. There were a few guys that messed with him a long time ago and no one has heard from them since. Keep him happy with tech, pics and Diet Dr. Pepper and you'll be just fine.

haha thanks for the heads up the name is brody knight if you want to look shit up on face book. doing the whole xsfer from photo bucket to here sounds like quite a bit of work... will send photos via email just hit up brodytheloadie@me.com all i have is a suspension lift on an 06 silver 4runner for the time being. once i start on the save i will be making a photo bucket upgrade as from my experience a lot of details are left out when it comes to the sac.. I'm sold on it but as i am in the navy and work on airplanes i need some step by step instructions and a few warnings on what to look out for.

i am not shy when it comes to adding a few things or going out on a road trip so please keep it all coming.. sean I'm glad you quit that diet coke... its not good for you any ways.. i would love to learn from the best so any tips are hot and mike i am curious if the sport hood is actually functional or would i be better off starting with a new exhaust to nab a bit more power first?

i do have a question for you though, what did y'all do with your stock suspensions? is there any way to recover a bit of the cost by selling or recycling it??

Sure there is a market for anything. Some stock setups fetch money others don't.

As for the hood scoop, they are not functional.

Great to have you here Wes! Good to see another "local" member here in the southeast.
I lived just outside of Atlanta most of my life, but moved into the mountains of Tn to get away from it all. :) Welcome to UY!
