Tying to find a souce for replacement parts for factory Aisin 79-85 hubs, Need some snap rings. I've got a good set of bearings, etc. Broke a couple of snap rings during reassembly this weekend after replacing broken birfs, and had to swap one of my spare hub bodies on, and now my "spare" doesnt have any snap rings to hold the bearing in.

Marlin definitely does nto carry them, which was my first thought. Any other ideas?

Think your best bet is to find a used hub from ebay or a wrecking yard and cannibalize it.

yeah either that or going to dealer. Looks like most people want MONEY for hubs though. Since this is really just a rebuildable spare, I dont want to toss a lot of coin at it. Maybe the parts will be cheap from the dealer. *laughs*

Speaking of dealers. Can anyone (CALLING AVY CALLING AVY) hook me up with part numbers for the peices circled in red?

And Avy - if you end up in here, could you shoot me a PM with prices on any/all of the circled parts?

Yea I looked online Chris, ebay, etc. Holy hell are they $$$.

Might get lucky and try and find if say isuzu or suzuki used similar or the same hubs and yank from them.

I honestly cant say much about my warns, they have always worked but lately I have a hard time disengaging 4wd unless I back up or turn with it off-then it clicks right off. Never did that before and IDK why.

I found a couple guys in pirate with a bucket of used hubs/hub parts, and they are going to hook me up with what I need. I think I found enough parts in my shop to get it all back together on the truck, just had to scavenge my spare for it, so now I need to get the spares back in working order.

chris, hopefully someone can confirm these numbers.

snap ring: 90520‑31001
hub assembly: 43502‑60020 (no separate inner/freewheeling ring.)

dont know if these are NLA or what, but thats what i found in the parts reference i have access to.

for what its worth, that snap ring is used on land cruisers through the fzj80. the hub assembly is used through the fj62.

Here are the external parts, http://forum.ih8mud.com/79-95-toyota-truck-tech/554656-auto-hubs-manual.html#post7311045

Sean, FWIW 90520‑31001 comes up as a driveshaft snapring, same # as I used for installing the correct shims under it for the axle stub shaft (43410/43420).

43502‑60020 is the ADD hub assembly (43501/43502).

The manual assembly is (or was) 43530‑39016.

Honestly all I got right now is the older short # diagram until I can login from a PC tomorrow (techinfo/techstream's STILL incompatible w/ mac).

Chris, try as I might for the last 2 days, right down to calling in a couple favors I cannot find a parts listing on those pieces. If Avy or someone else does I'll happily ship a finder's fee beer out.

Apparently you cannot even order pieces as an assembly. I am trying to see since these cross reference to the 96-99 Tacoma if those hubs are usable for the earlier trucks as a complete bolt on item and if not what the major differences are. Anyone wanna get together and compare their manual hubs??
