I've been a little absent from this board recently mostly b/c I started a job w/ big responsibilities and at the same time my Father-In-Law passed away. I figure since I just passed my 120days and still am working and other things are settling out I'd go ahead and share this with all of you. :D

We'll know fur sure by 5pm Saturday 4/7/12. (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+buy+a+house)

Are those launch keys? Cool!

Just kidding. Best of luck. Home ownership is great but in no way what-so-ever a way to save money. I can probably count on all my fingers (no more) the number of weekends I HAVEN'T been to Home Depot in the past 4 years. Our house is not a POS I we just love doing things to it.

Actually I'm headed back to HD for the third time in 24 hours. I'm nesting right now and get bored just sitting at home waiting.

Yep. Sad to report though the bank screwed up (a 2nd or 3rd time now) and didn't title the loan out for immediate disbursement so we can buy out the other shares. We gotta have them fix the paperwork and go back for another meeting. Joy-Joy :/

I will be happy when this stress is past and we can focus on OUR HOUSE and OUR FAMILY without so much "unnecessary drama". (Some of you who've been in chat know what I mean about all that.)

*Note: LOL, you know I'll be letting friends wrench here if they need to.

Our and a lot of people I know had issues when trying to buy their first home. For us it was such a bad experience I was ready to walk away several times. During escrow laws changed, lending rules changed, blah ,blah, blah. Our escrow was 60 days and half way through that they said we needed to double the amount we had put down. I was PO'd like no other.

In the end I'm glad it's beyond us and will wait a great while longer before doing it again.

I know, I had a feeling you guys who own would say that but it still doesn't lessen the stress right now w/ certain people banging on the proverbial door for their "$ now?!".

I need to get a training ride in now that it isn't so cold and my back will hurt less afterwards just to vent frustration(s). Maybe take Lil'One along in her trailer?

That and for sure a BBQ or a trip out of town to celebrate. Is it weird that once we sign I wanna book out of the house we'd now own for a trip to San Diego and Pismo? :D As for the $ bit, I know that already after being a partial owner. It is an investment that hopefully over time will reduce our losses by putting the $ where we can control it rather than a lazy landlord.

:D Thanks guys, one more bit of stress removed from my life. Now it's down to handling the car accident drama in arbitration next week. I tell you all this, I am gonna go fishing and light wheeling in June for sure and have promised to at least stop in at Marlin Crawler to see friends no matter what.

With all I've been through, I figure we deserve some nice things happening for once. :D
