OK

First I would like to thank Chris, Lance and Bob for the awesome organization of Pismo 09. Also the rest of the staff that helped out, And April thank you for serving the CC drool.
I really can not put into words how much fun I had out there, From meeting new people to seeing old
faces it was just great !!
The GPS Challenge was AMAZING, 10 times better then last year. It was a great way to go from the very north part of the dunes all the way to the south corners and see everything the Oceana Dunes has to offer.

Next I would like to thank ALL OF THE VENDORS, From Machine Fab to Lightforce love to Overland Warehouse and Toytec lifts, Not to mention ALL OF THE OTHER VENDORS I am forgetting. Im sure most of this wouldn't be possible without the generous vendors. Well at least the raffle part.
Also Thank you to SPLASH CAFE for the AWESOME Clam Chowder !!

To all the new faces I met : Nice meeting you all !! It was great putting a face to the names I've been chatting with on here for the last year, Bob, Ken, Mike, Kevin and everyone else !! Dan, Really glad you could make it out !

I think that is it so here is my report, And what your waiting for, The pics greengrin

Friday morning I think I was out of the door by 7am ish ? From here in Temecula I had a 278 mile drive, and I didnt want to miss a second of all the action !!

I got there around 1 and had camp up by 2, I dont really know what else happened after that on friday headscratch (no I was not under the influence)

Saturday morning started off the norm, Breakfast then the group photo.

Left to right: Troy, Jason, Me

After the group shot Me, Troy, Jason and Kevin decided we all wanted to do the GPS challenge together so we headed to camp bought our raffle tickets and got out swag and then headed out.

This is the first pic of our challenge. Kevin (crinale) decided to get stuck and blame it on me slowing down. So I said hey its not my fault you dont have a locker tongueout

Like I said I had a blast, I had a smile on the whole time

A few of the other guys we saw while doing the challenge

I didnt get the FJ guys name, But him and milton (silver 05+) tagged along with us on the challenge..

For the challenge we had to get a picture of the trucks by the water

That was the end of the challenge, I think we finished in 2 Hours 45 mins or close to that.

After that we chilled out at camp and just relaxed and talked trucks (what else would we talk about ?)

Then Troy, Jason, Kevin and Myself decided to head out for another last run before dinner and sunset. Kevin also wanted to mob up his GF's CRV (BAD IDEA) rofl
Me :

Troy and I hitting a Half bowl
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNoI3mTwiW4

After that Kevin over heated the Torque converter on the CRV, It ended up having to be towed back to camp.. Milton was generous enough to let Kevin borrow his FlatBed and I think they got it home some time today

After this little run we headed back to camp and had some SPLASH CAFE Clam Chowder. DAMN THIS STUFF IS GOOD !!
Kimmi and Troy, The love birds tongueout

After that there was the Raffle, Tons of vendors donated prizes. Some of the more noteable ones were :
Sliders from Maching fab
200$ Gift card to Stubbs welding (congrats Nick !!)
Gift cards to Toytech Lifts
Striker 170's from Lightforce love clap ( I Ended up winning a set of the 170's clap with the wiring harness, I also won a bunch of gift cards from the maker of ready welder and pull pal)
There was also Coil spacers and BJ spacers from SDORI (Congrats Kevin, Even though you already have a lift)
An air compressor from Overland Warehouse

Im forgetting alot of things..
TONS AND TONS of more prizes.. Again THANK YOU TO ALL THE VENDORS for making the raffle kick ass bowdown

After the raffle there was a Night Run, I got shotty with Lance confused
Fun time, Thanks for that ride Lance, That was a blast !!
During the night run we were collecting the markers from the GPS challenge. I think we had one blown bead that we got reseated and Mike almost rolled sideways down a hill..

Then there was the fire afterwards..
Javi is out there to give you a scale..

That thing was huge, We had to get rid of all the firewood so we just piled it on.
I think Lance, Chris, Bob, Javi, Kevin and I were up till 2:30 screwy

ANYWAY
I think thats about it
Here's all the swag I made away with clap

Cant wait to get these 170's mounted up

I hope everyone had a safe trip home
Cant wait till next year guys !!!

Hey guys SiRMarlon here...sorry I didn't get a chance to personally meet anyone face to face, but we had setup camp over between pole 12 and pole 13. Anyway I didn't really get a chance to take that many pictures because most of the Events were held before we even got up lol So we pretty much did our own thing. For some reason I got hammered with stomach cramps all weekend and it was taking a toll on me on Saturday so I wasn't really in a mood to walk around with my camera. I did manage to get some fucken Awesome Jumps of Paul!! Gotta give that guy credit! He takes the cake when it comes to catching air!! Anyway here you go...

Bruce buried his 4 runner trying to pull Paul out...

Ultimate Bro Mobile right here...

Anyone see something wrong with this picture....mind you this was in the sand dunes between pole 12 and 13... lol

Paul's action shots...

This was the biggest jump of the day... :o I think he was trying to land on the Moon. lol

Wow, awesome pics.

A big thanks to Chris & April, Lance and Bob and all the vendors and other helpers for making this such a successful event. Bob, we all expect to see those churros again next year! And a big thanks to Mike for driving me around all weekend since I still hadn't recovered well enough to drive my 4Runner just yet. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones.

Now keep those pictures coming!

Thanks to everyone for a great event! It was awesome just kicking back and meeting new people. We'll definitely be out for next years' run.

A few pics...

My rig.

Connie mashin the gas.

Matt airing it out.

We found this guy and his wife buried in the back, all alone...

We tried getting him out with both trucks, but no luck...In the end I just winched him out.

Thanks again for the great trip. We had a great time with an excellent group of Toyota lovers.
