As far as I know, every 4 cylinder pickup and tacoma were available with a manual transmission.
However, rumors are that Toyota is discontinuing the 5 speed manual found in the lighter duty applications (4 cylinder Tacoma, Hilux, Fortuner) and planning on using 6 speed manuals going forward. Currently, for 2018, 4 cylinder Tacomas with a manual are not available. V6 Tacomas with the 6 speed manuals are still available. Nobody seems to know if the 6 speed will make it to the 4 cylinder Tacoma, but I think the odds are pretty good.
