BUT this will does change the language here and there that is interesting in that if you're already a ccw holder (12050 licensee), you'll be able to carry your handgun "partially concealed" loaded in your belt holster.
This means although Unloaded Open Carry got screwed, those with CCW will now be able to Loaded Open Carry.
But honestly, it really doesn't matter because CA will become a shall issue state in the near future so all of this will be a moot point.
It may be awhile until Alan Gura and the Second Amendment Foundation gets around to suing California...
I wish you Californians (as a former Californian) the best of luck in your fight to regain your rights. The state government is literally upside down.
And just when you thought AB 1934 passed it really never did. Yesterday's crazy session included amendments to the bill which both the assembly and senate passed but they both passed different amended bills so technically since they didn't pass the same amended bill this bill never got passed.
Therefore AB 1934 FAIL
lol Lance... well thats good.
AB1934, AB1810, and AB2358 all failed. A great day for us here in CA. This is the start of many great changes to come.
Awesome! :tongueout:
My wife is from California, and we are contemplating moving back. But this is a huge issue to me.
Not sure what I would do with my AR15 if we moved back. :gunner:
