Good luck on your build.
If your gonna do an expedition rig, know that you will be packing a lot of weight. So, I would at the very least get the Diamond Axles, or a Rear 60 Full Float. I wanted the...
Hey Will, it was great to meet you and check out your rig. That pop-up roof tent is way cool.
For the rest of your, here are some videos that were captured at the event.

I found a commuter car that gets 41mpg city/hwy. Much better than the 4Runner's mpg. :)
Well, rubbish or not, its out there.

Just for info, here is what Rolling Stone had to say in 2003 about the Top 100 Greatest Guitarists...

cool, I could use some more toys.
Thanks Crux, it was loads of fun. As for the exo-cage, naw, too much metal and too much weight. If I want to do the really ugly stuff, like Heldorado in Moab, I'll build a buggy. For now, I'm going...
Thanks Cleansr5.
I just updated the Garage folder to show how the rig handles on the highway. I get quite a few questions about how this handles on the road, such as wandering, shimmy, etc. So, I...

If you really are running 39.5" Iroks, then a D60 is in order. But, after putting so much money into the rear 3rd, why would you put more into D60 axles?
I'm sure that D60 will look great with 34.5" tires on it.
I wouldn't go D60. Rather, a Ford 9" has plenty of beef, and you can get it with a high pinion setup and disc brakes.
Yeah, its was pretty steep. That was the steepest I have ever been in the 4Runner. When I get around posting my pictures, you can really see how steep it is. Pretty wild ride. You won't see many 3rd...
Thanks. In my opinion, if you can get through these kind of obstacles, you have an Ultimate Yota.
Went to Farmington this past weekend to run with the local TTORA guys. I ran a couple of extreme trails to make sure we could do them when the TTORA takeover came around.
I don't have any pics...
Of course you could go full floater and never have to worry about it in the future.
Oh Yeah, forgot one thing. This run was sort of a shake down for the new fender trimming of the wheel wells and the fender flares at this new low height.
They worked beautifully!
Under full...
Thanks man.
One of the drawbacks to being low, is getting up waterfalls. This past weekend I went out to Farmington and ran a couple of extreme trails with the local TTORA guys. A trail called...
I'd say buggy it. You already have a great street rig that can handle plenty of trails. But, you know you will want to push the limits of this thing and see what it can really do on the nasty trails....
I have it in my '99 Multi-matic transfer case.
Guess ya better take a look to see whats behind there....
Raising the gas tank is a major PITN.
There is a crossbar that the fill tube for the gas tank goes over.
Take a look at this picture, and you can see a round bar that goes from fram rail to frame...
Cougar, have you received the parts yet?
