Corax you have an IS??? i love the previous gen and after seeing a 250 in red I'm very tempted by them. The new RX leaves me a little cold though. They had the best c-pillar in segment and threw it...

Keith, I'm psyched you posted this. I was trying to find it a month or so ago and could find it anywhere. I swear I saw it on the marlin forum originally, but who knows.

Oly, I'll take a meletonin sometimes too. It's super mild and doesn't really make me sleep, but makes me a little extra drowsy about 20-30 min later & seems to be the extra little bit i need some...

    Re: Screen Windows

I bet gorilla glue or silicon would do a good job gluing it down. If you need stronger magnets bust open a hard drive and scavenge those. Even if you don't need them for this I highly recommend...
  8. Re: How do I install a program from a thumb drive?

That looks nice Dan, I'm looking for an excuse to upgrade. The original one only has a 7" screen which is ok, but a little more would be nice. I think it's pretty cool that the whole netbook segment...

Re: school me on riding mowers

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I've never had good luck with B&S engines in the past but it's been a long time. Wish I could get one with a honda motor.
  10. Re: How do I install a program from a thumb drive?

Cool! Which netbook did you get? I love my eee but there are a ton more options than when I got mine.
  11. Re: How do I install a program from a thumb drive?

did you copy the whole folder over & then move it from the thumbdrive to the netbook? Usually setup.exe is what i've seen to run. It will prob use other files in that folder though.

    school me on riding mowers

So, need to get something bigger than my little honda push mower for my 2 acres, and I'm really not sure what I should look for/avoid. I'm looking at the lower end ones, 42" cut, 17 - 20hp in the...

Much better, you are still getting way more than 2" lift from them but it sits about right now I think.

    Re: Home buying advice?

man that looks great! I don't think it's a huge concern for you, but just in case a-frames typically are tougher to sell, and will sell at a lower price per sq ft than more standard construction....
  17. Poll: Re: Should I put '05+ Taco rims on a '90 4Runner? Update: Now with new pics!

i almost dropped a couple bucks a piece on a replacement set, but luckily tried pepboys first. They were pretty reasonable and seemed to be fine quality, maybe $1/per nut.
  18. Poll: Re: Should I put '05+ Taco rims on a '90 4Runner? Update: Now with new pics!

Looks great, it's odd that buying wheel/used tire combos can be the cheapest way to get fresh rubber sometimes.

BTW, those rims are kind of mesmerizing for passengers in other cars. At speed they...
  19. Re: Asus EEE-PC - a tough little full featured lappy 4 the road.

I know the EEE has had some issues since I got mine, many seem to be related to folks messing around with the original OS, but some seem to be manufacturing flaws. For example mine has an issue with...
  20. Poll: Re: Should I put '05+ Taco rims on a '90 4Runner?

Tough to find new tires for less than 100/tire, I'd say it's a good deal. Not sure about those wheels, but would guess they have to be worth at least 200 by themselves. I'd say go for it!

Re: Add one more to unemployment

That blows! Been there a few times and have no desire to go back. I will say I would have never ended up where I am today without a bad stretch starting in 2000, so I'm kinda grateful in retrospect....

Re: tips for buying a vehicle that doesn't run

Have the owner sit behind the wheel with you in the passenger seat. Have him make vroom vroom sounds to approximate how it sounded when it was running. Listen for any miss at idle or knocking sounds....
