4Runner is packed and ready to go, gonna wait til early tomorrow morning to head out, so I can stop by and pick up some food in town before I head down the beach....
AFAIK, that's a myth. Lot's of people run 5.29's or even 5.71's with bigger tires than 35's... :wrenchin:

yes they do run them and break them all the time, most of the hardcore people I...
since you have a 5-speed I would go 4.88, 5.29's are weaker, I run 4.88 with 35's and my 32's for daily driving. If I had it to do again I'd go with 4.56.
As usual it'll be a last second decision if I can make it, but most likely I'll be there.
I have a Miller 200 MIG, Miller 180SD TIG and my good old AstroMIG130 with a bunch of mods.
I checked and the door I have is for drivers side rear....sorry unless you need one.
sound about normal, the magnetic plug will always have some sludge on it, oil being amber in color means I doubt there is anything major wrong.
I'll check tomorrow, but I might have a rear passenger door in my shed......
clocking the T-case is quite easy, you'll need to cut and reweld the shifter lever as well. With a body lift you may not have to clearance the belly pan. I have a budbuilt clocking ring, but never...
I added airbags in the back to compensate, as for the weight shift, there really isn't much difference. The ford fuel pump has never given me a problem and once I drop the tank to adjust the fuel...

It's very rare for a bearing to go out in a diff, the gears are usually the first to go. However with an E-locker the bolts to the carrier can come loose and make some funky sounds. The first thing...
I remove mine after greasing and put in an allen set screw......simply because they get torn off on the trail. That's on the diff end of the shaft, the other one I never have problems with.

Ken, the test results I posted are a copy of my actual results done a few weeks before my post, so yes those are the same emission standard that your truck is being held to.
Another note..... as...

They are forged casting and you can safely weld on them with no issues. I MIG welded mine, then did some clearancing for my 35's.
It's a whole process to get the bumper off. Remove the spare tire and then the hitch, it'll make it easier, that's only 4 to 6 bolts from the underside. With a screwdriver you can unclip the plastic...
nope, never put one on mine
Now this is the way you do a proper test...

Making a new sump would be easy for me now since I have a CNC mill. Thought about going that route. For now it will be 2WD, however I will be installing the 6-speed 4WD tranny, so making it a 4x4 in...
Looks like I will be using the electronics from the 2005 Tacoma, since the URD supercharger works so much better with the throttle by wire set-up. I may have to fabricate a new oil pan, since there...
Was thinking about getting into contact with Coors and see if they'd want to put their graphics on in.....Silver Bullet....hahaha
Note I copied his title.....hehe
I have the complete vehicle wiring harness and all electronics from the 2005 Tacoma that the engine came from. Electronics and wiring is my specialty, so I doubt...
OK, more details:
This was a friends project vehicle that never got completed and has less than 9000 miles on the odometer. I has been in storage for over 2 years now and he finally wanted it...
