Would a bad connetion to the battery, due to the battery cable maybe cause it? When i unhook the battery cable, and try to pull the key, it comes out... Any thoughts?

Ive tried the forward and reverse technique, and the moving the lever through all the gears. Ive also tried putting it in 4wd and trying that too, but it all failed. Ill try the removal of the gear...
So, i try putting my truck in park, and it works... but the key doesn't turn off... the key will not come out the ignition, it just turns enough to kill all the electronics... anyone know whats...

Well, $165 later and ima get all the fluids, filter, and the sealant for my front and rear diff's, and for my trans. Only thing is, i don't know where i should bring it to get em all flushed and...
