It depends on what size tire you will be running. For 3rd gen 4Runners, 4.88's are a good match for 35's, 4.56 for 33's (these are all arguable depending on if you tow).

I decided to go with Precision gears ... 4.88's w/ master install for a little over 700 with Cryo treatment included
