I have a 2000 case as I was going to do this swap in my '97. Are you a 5-speed or a auto? I looked at all the wiring diagrams and had it somewhat figured out. You definitely need to get the transfer...
Bob, are these the vice jaws you are talking about?

What size of hose should I run? -8AN or -10AN?
Thanks
That Amsoil kit is a little over kill for me.
I'm trying to think of where to mount the filter. I was thinking of under the battery on the frame rail but then I remembered it would be covered by...
I've been spec'ing out my parts list for relocating the oil filter in my '97 4Runner. I'm planning on using mostly Earl's parts.

You wont be able to press the bearings out with that 12 ton press. I couldn't even get them out with my 20 ton. I ended up taking the knuckles and all the parts to a machine shop that my dealer...
IIRC, those aftermarket upper A-arms that use the stock ball joint are no longer available. Consensus seems to be that the Total Chaos and Camburg upper uniball arms are the best. I plan on going...
Swapping in the 3.4L (5VZ-FE) is fairly easy as engine swaps go. I did one a few years ago.
- It bolts in (motor mounts are positioned correctly and mates to tranny)
- You can buy a conversion...

How much is shipping to 97223?
Thanks

Does anyone know if this kit will work with the TRD S/C?
Will Twisted Customs be selling those reap hoops? When I get another 3rd gen, that is exactly the setup I would love to run in the rear!
Downey has some, even though they aren't listed on their site. I just called and ordered up a set!
I'm going to overhaul my brake system because after 315,000 miles, they are starting to lack in performance.
I'm going with mostly stock components:
- New M/C
- New rear wheel cylinders
...
Still available?
Thanks
Could you make the brackets to accommodate a 1" or 1.5" body lift? I see you have brackets for a 2" body lift as an option.
Thanks
If it hasn't had the timing belt replaced yet, you might consider doing that. It's usually done at 100K IIRC. If you have that done, replace the water pump and theres some other stuff that's good to...
Indeed, I plan on getting a set myself.
I still have both of mine, PM me if your interested.
Thanks
Im thinking your going to need the whole 4WD shifter assembly instead of just the 4WD pistol grip shifter. The 4WD shifter assembly looks way different.
Im pretty sure all Limited's had power leather seats. The SR5's with the leather option still had manual seats.
This rig will never be SAS'd, it's highway driven way too much.
