Looks like its time for a new bumper

depends on what kind of lift is already in there and how much. spacers, coils? 2", 2.5", 3"??
if you have a 2.5" lift, a half inch topout might indeed put too much stress on the ball...
is a 3/8" top out spacer really going to put that much strain on the ball joints? :flipoff: I run them and have no problems. With the top outs i still have a fair amount of rake, but i could just...
IIRC, you currently are not running top out spacers in the front, you may want to get a set of those too or the rake may be a little on the ridiculous side.
seriously
The 80 springs that came in my system l kit are Double Purple + Gray + White, they are both the same color code. I would agree that you are all set if you have the same codes on both springs.
I'm in, thats a great giveaway!
I believe the gearing on 'most' e-locked runners is 4.30, although i have never checked to verify that. Someone chime in and correct me if i'm wrong. With the 295's, it's obviously a little slower,...
That's a sick photo. I like both styles of the fj wheels on a 3rd gen 4runner.
Lookin good! That's exactly what my truck used to look like, same exact color scheme.
I'm going through the same debate myself. I will pull the tape measure out after work and check it out. You also have to think about where your 4runner is going in the future. If you plan on running...
throw a 1.5 inch body lift onto 2.5 suspension lift and thats 4 inches. plus they're cheap, and if you keep it below 1.5 inches, its easy. 2+" body lifts start to get more complicated, and like...
I like em bald! if you know what i mean.
imho, joe's build up is alot like mine: functional, sharp, but low key.
joe: you did an awesome job. and great choice on the vendor (sonoran steel). steve is definitely the go-to guy.

I would imagine they would rub alot more without a body lift. Even with the body lift they still rub on the stock rear bumper at full stuff. Also, the front rubs the frame at full lock. It's not that...
It's not really anything special just yet, compared to alot of the 4runners on UY, but I love it. There is alot more i would like to do to it. But, money is tight and mods come slow for me. I have...
Had the lift installed about 3 weeks ago. As you can tell, i'm lazy, and I'm just now posting pics. The lift is the Sonoran Steel system 1 lift, the wheels are fzj80 wheels pc'ed black chrome, and...
Yup, looks like the bolt i'm talking about is missing in all those pictures. Thanks alot, that cleared it up.
I just installed Sky's elocker guard, and in order to get the guard to fit properly, i had to remove one of the bolts from the elocker. The elocker guard mounts to the elocker in 3 locations, 2 on...
I checked the site, i dont think its out there. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am hours away from home installing my sonoran steel #1 lift at a friends house and i forgot a couple pages of the instructions at home. Can someone help me out and let me know the length that the...
That looks pretty level to me. If it's off that little, to most people it's not even noticeable. So far i've only done a 1" body lift and for some reason the front passenger side is about 3/8" higher...
