If you really are running 39.5" Iroks, then a D60 is in order. But, after putting so much money into the rear 3rd, why would you put more into D60 axles?

I'm sure that D60 will look great with 34.5" tires on it.

I wouldn't go D60. Rather, a Ford 9" has plenty of beef, and you can get it with a high pinion setup and disc brakes.

Went to Farmington this past weekend to run with the local TTORA guys. I ran a couple of extreme trails to make sure we could do them when the TTORA takeover came around.

I'd say buggy it. You already have a great street rig that can handle plenty of trails. But, you know you will want to push the limits of this thing and see what it can really do on the nasty trails....

Raising the gas tank is a major PITN.
There is a crossbar that the fill tube for the gas tank goes over.
Take a look at this picture, and you can see a round bar that goes from fram rail to frame...
