so the 5th gen 4Runners (N285 Series) also have the cracks despite the frame reinforcement made by Toyota? not looking good Toyota :shake:
true.. the current model playdo 150 series is having body cracks. I just hope the 5th gen 4Runners (N285 series) won't have the same issues:...
Does this mean that if installed on a 3rd gen 4Runner, the wheels will be moved outwards?

Matt,
Would you happen to have the part number for the harness on the left?
Thanks!
The bump stops can be seen on the last picture. they're near the shocks.
but not on the accident pic showing the LCA up close.
The 13WH is on the 4th gen SE and those with 17" wheels, as well as on the GX470. the rotors for the 13WH caliper is 238mm diameter compared to the 13WL and 13WG 219mm diameter. the thickness of both...

Thanks!
Thanks for the correction guys. I thought the pathfinder and the xterra were one and the same vehicles as i thought they looked similar

there's a warn front mount receiver for the 1996-1998 3rd gen 4Runner.The ones with the fat lip bumper reinforcement may need to be modified to allow the receiver to mount
You might like to consider the Blue TRD Tokicos..
Hi,
Does any one with a a 4th gen 4Runner have a measurement of the center-center spacing of the bolts holding the front calipers to the brackets of the steering knuckles?
EDIT: or if anyone is...
yes, still a 6-lug. the 2010 (to be released in august 2009) play-doo also has 6 lugs:

looks more like a rav4 on steroids
i believe there will be a V8 option. the "no v8" is only for the play-doo. the north american 4Runner will have a V8 option. the 4th gen even had that option. i don't see a reason why the 5th gen...
the items in post #48 seem the same to those of the 2009 Prado which will be introduced in August 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show. does that mean the there won't be a 5th gen 4Runner? and a new Play-Doo...
does the toytec drop bracket needs to be welded to the existing panhard frame?
OT: on what vehicle is the 4.6 V8 used on? I presume this is not the 4.7L 2UZ-FE..
wooohooo!!!
that's welcome news!!... Toyota didn't merge / make it into a PLAY-DO..
The grill of the first pic has the outline of the 4Runner.
I hope it won't look like that...doesn't look good though..hope that isn't the final design
Iceman,
Great install! is the valve body upgrade next?
