Looks great. can't wait to see the progression. Are you adding a carrier to it?
Nice meeting you, Tim and families :).

Likewise Joyce :)
Nice work on Joyce's carrier. I had a chance to see it in person when we crossed paths on the White Rim trail in Canyonlands. ....pretty slick!
Mark, sounds like you have it under control, when i redo mine, i'm gonna just cut the very bottom section back more where it will angle up slightly. Mine rubs slightly only when turning on...
Here is the completed project. I wish I had his rear winch!
Enjoy.........

very nice!! I so want to SAS my 4R. nice work man :)
it's actually just one latch.
While I was working on my own bumper, I modified a buddy of mine's ARB rear bumper.
Here's a couple teasers of it. I think it came out really good, makes me wish I had done the dual arms on mine....
i appreciate the nice remarks. :)
I didn't cut the rear crossmember. I notched into it to add the reciever but then reinforced it all behind the crossmember after. The bumper is 3/16" thick and...
Cro ...that thing is really nice. very unique and great lines!
Thanks for the compliments everyone. ...there are a few flaws being i was a little rushed on this,(hopefully only I'll notice) but that said, I'm happy with it. As you guys know, it's hard to get...
Well it's pretty much done. you can see on the driver rear that it still needs a little trimming to make the gap more even, it's a little close at the corner. Other than needing a bath and my license...
it's getting blasted and metalized today, hopefully it'll be back all done tomorrow ....wooooooohoooooo!!!!
hehe! ...snowshovel ....can't say .....Corona is local pickup only (it's ice cold, butcha gotta share!)
I have a bunch of steel left over from some of my recent fab projects. If you bought this retail, you'd spend over $400 for what's here. Take it off my hands for $100.
local pickup only please

I forgot all about this thread. I fly Blackhawks but I'm headed down to Az to fly RC-12's. Thanks again to all our service men and women.
Sometimes I feel guilty because i haven't deployed yet, I...
It's a SCUBA tank ...it's "air". at 3200 psi it's good for about 4-5 fills from 16 to 35 psi on my 33's
It sits higher than it looks in the pictures. I've never gotten close to hitting it because of that long bitchass frame crossmember in the back ...guess it's good for something
...
yes, their just to the outside of the corners of the frame ....there are two notches directly under where you're speaking for hi-lift jacking points. I didn't want to interfere with those. It's all...
Ditto, and scuba places wont fill without it tested.
And yes, this is from a scuba diver, 3000 is very normal, 3500 is also very normal. 4000 your high as you want to go. thats in the steel...
Thanks for the feedback guys ...I'll post one more pic later of the final product before it goes off to PC in the morning
as far as the gap, i'm torn between using plate steel continued up the sides or using the remainder of my stock bumper cover. So far I think I can get away with the stock cover.
You can really see Lance and Bruce's influences here. I have been searching for a bumper with similar lines to theirs without success so I decided to try and build one myself. SO far, I couldn't be...
hey fellas, i'm an Army pilot and I gotta say this is one of the coolest things i've seen on these forums. I feel i gotta say thanks to you for just taking a moment to tip your hat ....right back...
