Based on that chart, Toyota stock 31" 4.56 is already in the blue...
To keep in the same ratio, I guess we need 36" for 5.29 gear then....
However, I don't feel a lot of power or torque already...

    Re: roll bar from 86 2 door into a 92 4 door

Just keep in mind that those "roll bar" only attached to the the body and doesn't go down to the frame which is what you really want in a roll cage.

    Re: Trail gear R&P

I thought it was just wheel bearings or something more simple. I found the cause of the noise by jacking up the axle then put the truck in first gear. I stop one tire then the other. That's how I...

    Re: Trail gear R&P

    Thanks for the feed back.
I think I blew the pinion of the Yukon because the cable e-locker got engaged by accident while I was driving on the street.

Re: 1988 Pickup Transfer Case Knob PICTURE!!!

On the 88, I'm not sure if the front bumper goes up with the 2" body lift.
If that's the case then you need to lower the front bumper BEFORE you lower the body. Check the rear bumper also, if the...
  10. Re: 2nd Gen Runners 3rd gen Trucks: Rear Differential Traction Aids. Your thoughts?

It's kinda strange that they would make the locker for the front..7.5 but but the 8" which I think would be more common.
  11. Re: 2nd Gen Runners 3rd gen Trucks: Rear Differential Traction Aids. Your thoughts?

I just got the OMU 860...I think. It's been a while.
The shocks are Bilstein 5100. the ones without the ext. tube.
    the ride is great.
  12. Re: 2nd Gen Runners 3rd gen Trucks: Rear Differential Traction Aids. Your thoughts?

Here's my setup with Toyota e-locker converted to Downey cable lock and swaybar block.
My truck handle much better with the rear sway bar.

    Al Gore

I don't know if this has been talked about before, but talk about not walking the talk. Good thing he didn't get in the office. It's scary to think how he would rape this country for his own gain.

Re: water to HHO in gas engine

Part of the system is that they have to " trick " the ECU into thinking that there's enough gas to run.

Re: water to HHO in gas engine

I think a lot of that argument assumes that the hydrogen will replaced the gasoline. That's not what the original concept was about. It's a supplement to the gasoline. the engine still needs gasoline...

    Re: Fitting 35's without Lift

well, a functional 4x4 is one that has at least some flex. When you fit 35's on IFS without any lift, then limit the flex so it won't rub, then you're defeating the purpose of having suspension in...
