 Thanks! I have seen/read/done the procedure. Your step-by-step write up was great. I copy/pasted and saved it. At some point I will use it agin I'm sure...

    Re: Tailgate body rust

After swabbing out the nasty stuff I cut a little hole in the bottom of the strip to function as a drain. There was a substantial amout of water along the strip. With the OEM setup there's no place...

    Tailgate body rust

I had read about this potential issue a while ago and decided to have a look for myself. I was surprised to find that even in my mild climate, minimal off-roading, no spills, no rains with the...

Re: VSC Off, ATRAC On Mod complete!

I finally got the Holy Grail of this mod...

As you may know this mod allows for VSC off, center diff unlocked operations while in 4wd. What was missing is the ability to run 2wd VSC off....

V6 Tick Tic Tap Noise Reduced!

How'd you like that title? It's all about the search  On that subject if this is a total duplicate that I missed I apologize.

A great thank-you to PhilC64 at the Blue FJC forum. I just did...
  9. Re: FJ Cruiser Rear Springs & Spacer Lift Installed

Thanks for the replies guys. I may get to the write up but it's very standard. It's the same procedure as a spacer lift with slightly different parts.

The 1st pic is new. It has the 3/4" spacer...
  10. FJ Cruiser Rear Springs & Spacer Lift Installed

As some of you may know (from the other forums) I purchased a set of FJCruiser springs for $55 to my door. A while ago I installed the front springs to help 'level' the T4R a bit.

    I installed the...

Re: VSC Off, ATRAC On Mod complete!

Great discussion... 1st, The best handling off-road vehicles are probably the rally cars such as the Audi's, Subaru's and the Mitsi's. They use some type of differential in the middle. Variable front...

Re: VSC Off, ATRAC On Mod complete!

Brian and Lance, point well taken... Why? I like to be able to do tight turning on hard packed trails with the diff unlocked. Truth is it'd be just fine with the diff locked but it's my preference....

VSC Off, ATRAC On Mod complete!

I completed the VSC-off mod on my T4R. The cool thing about this mod is the ATRAC is still active.

A great thank-you to Andries at T120. This is his hard work not mine.

    In 2wd dash lights are...

P tire vs LT tire inflation article / guide

Fairly new here. Many times people upgrade tires and use a higher load rating than the original 'P' tires. IMHO people with LT tires in place of original equipment 'P' tires often times run them too...

Re: 4th gen 4runner tranny cooler?

    Re: Hello

YotaFun, I'd love to get into some heavy modding but it's a DD and finances etc. prevent that. Next on my list is probably 1" CF on the front to supplement the FJC springs and a front reciever. After...
