Well, a brand new, 2012 Rav4 Limited V-6 is sitting in our driveway. I'm incredibly impressed with it, plus you couldn't beat the 0% financing toyota was offering to get the 2012's off the lot before...
well, we went and looked around yesterday, test drove a few of them. I personally would love to get the Forester XT Touring, but apparently it is to "grandpaish", whatever the hell that means...

So, it's time for the soon to be Mrs and myself to start looking into a new vehicle. As most of you know my '04 Tacoma is gone now in favor of a Chevy 2500HD, but we each also have our own vehicles....
Here's what I got:

2005 Chevy 2500HD With the duramax, and behind it is a 2009 Starcraft Star stream 19' trailer.
Overall, I'm...

They were all quite close. In some cases 15 feet or less.
Pretty tame animals as there really don't have much contact with humans where we were. The first few of the doe...
It's been a long while since I've posted photos, so I figure I'd share some recent photos from my last camping trip of some critters we saw:

Dan, I'm not too familiar with that road sorry. I spent most of my time closer to the Bozeman area and north of that.
I can't wait to see your Montana Pics! You're going to make me need to plan a trip back their asap!
Awesome photos!
Yep, seriously a great camera. I've had my D300 (non 's') since 2008 with over 30,000 shutter cycles on it and it's still cranking away without issue.
Sold! Ended up selling them separate, but both have found new homes!
Best of luck, looks like you're set for an amazing adventure! I'd love to travel around for that long and just see the country! Take a ton of photos to document as you'll definitely want to relive...
Already got it up there, and I've got a couple people interested.
Somewhat surprised by the responses already...
I've also got it up on http://usedfourwheelcampers.com/ as well.
Obi, yeah, I know... haha, oh well life goes on. And that backboard would be clean if I used it. However not much of a basketball guy so it's funny to say, but in the 3 years I've owned my house,...
Already figured that into the cost, but point taken. There's enough DIY people that could be interested in a truck like this that may want to tackle the clutch itself, however if it ends up steering...
Thanks! Definitely sad to see it go, but it'll be nice to move on up in the world and get something better built for us!
Here's a few pics.
Well folks, my rig has served me well, but it's time to move on :/ Sad to see her go, but it's for the best, life changes (primarily getting engaged and needing more room and creature comforts for...

Again, nothing special, still trying to figure out exactly how to set up the camera and what not.
Excellent shots! Fireworks are not easy to take photos of to get the proper exposure as well as the WB.
Nicely done!
