The steels appear to be the same backspacing as the Triclops wheels, the distance from the UCA and the sidewall looks the same with both. I didn't measure it.
I may have spent $30-40 total. Just...

It's been ridiculous finding a full set of these. Tundras and Tacomas have 16 punched holes and only the 4Runner has 18. But then you have 4Runners that use the 15" spare and I've dropped some spares...
Well, one of my 285/75s has a good sized puncture and tear and the rest are wearing thin on tread so I'm considering some new tires.
I've been looking for 255/85/16s or 33s trying to price them...
I'm looking to buy two spares from a 3rd gen 4Runner.
They're 16x7 with 18 punched holes.
Local to Austin or central TX area preferably.
Well, if the axle shafts swap over between all rear ends (which I am assuming), it wouldn't take long to pull and swap over.
Cool, yeah I do have ABS.
I was going to just change out the entire rear end so I wouldn't have to modify my stock one even.
I may have a chance to purchase a used complete rear end from a'99 with e-locker. I want to drop my current rear axle and just bolt this one on. But I just had a few questions before buying it.

A LOT
my mileage dropped like an atomic bomb when i put a rack on my 01
I figured that was a big factor. What kind of rack did you have?
Is the fairing really doing me any favors?
I'm like 85% city, 10% highway, 5% finding parking.
How much do you think the rack would affect it?
I wonder what anyone else with similar mods is getting for fuel economy.
Just math'd off the odo.
I should use the gps huh I guess.
A few years back I was averaging 16-17mpg, recorded over a 6 month time frame.
I don't drive the 4Runner nearly as much these days, but just out of curiosity, I decided to record how many miles I...

A little update. Well not really.
I've been keeping an eye on it since this last post and the coolant level hasn't moved. If it's dripping, it's a seriously slow leak, and it doesn't look...
Well it's been holding coolant all week fine, no oil mixture, no white smoke or smell, doesn't look like it's getting in the tranny (although I may bypass the stock cooler anyway).
There are a...
Just took the Runner out for a 3 hour trip.
Checked all fluids before I left and when I got there I noticed there was a hissing sound and the whole underside of the car was wet with coolant.

From a Volvo forum.
You guys in OR keep an eye out!
You know, this is probably common knowledge to most but if you disconnect the swaybar at the endlinks, the stock jack (positioned upsidedown) is more than capable of pushing the control arms low...
I actually went with an http://www.amazon.com/Bussmann-BP-HHA-Add-Circuit/dp/B000DCN9IA"]"Add a Circuit" they're maybe 8 bucks at the auto store and there was a spot on my fuse box that wasn't...
Where are you guys wiring in for 12v to aftermarket gauges?
Are there spare spade sockets under or behind the dash anywhere?
Yeah, my suspension is pretty stiff. Bilstein yellows, ugh.
