We were airing up our tires, that's just the air line from the compressors in my cargo area.

I just ended up making my own...

I will be going to Uwharrie this saturday (11/7) with a stock FJ if anyone else would like to join.
I wanted to bump this because I will be heading there this Saturday
I would pull the plastic off from the inside and make sure that the linkage for the handle has not loosened/ fallen off.
I've had the Destinations and didn't think they cleaned out too well. They also lost traction easily during wet weather. I got them for a good price at the time and that's why I got them (305x70x16's...
Another vote for East Coast Gear Supply. A lot cheaper than Randy's and Chase (Owner) knows his Yota stuff and set up my 4.88's/ front ARB
My idea would be like that except with the soft top covering the seating area as well
I know insurance wouldn't be that much, but I don't have a place to keep a 3rd vehicle and it's just another vehicle where some part could go bad or fail, plus it would be stock, whereas my 3rd gen...
I will not be doing this personally. If I go through with this, it will be done by a local off-road shop with experience in building buggys, cages, etc. I do want a 1st gen, but don't want to have to...
More or less, I want to replace the roof sheet metal and rear glass with a removable canvas top, I've also been toying the idea of trying to add a truck style tailgate and eliminating the rear hatch,...
I have seen his 4Runner and I like his chop, but I was hoping to keep the cargo area covered instead of a truck bed style like he made his. After looking at a few jeep pictures, my idea would be...
I have been playing around with the idea of cutting off my roof for a while and was wondering what everyone thought of the idea. My idea was to cut the roof behind the headliner and replace it with a...
Sold? You had to go and do it Scott
I''m 6'4 and about 215 lbs, and about 14% body fat (going for around 8%)and don't look starved. I would focus more on leaning out muscle/ muscle % to body fat% rather than weight alone. Especially if...
As of last Friday, I finally joined the 35's club. The 35's complete my summer list consisting of new 4.88 precision gears, a front ARB locker (already did an elocker swap) and tires to complement...
I was looking into doing the HID conversion for some Hella 500 driving lights. I was wondering whether it would be as straightforward as the 4000's and if I could re-use the stock fog light wiring...
It depends on what size tire you will be running. For 3rd gen 4Runners, 4.88's are a good match for 35's, 4.56 for 33's (these are all arguable depending on if you tow).
Hope this isn't a repost

I've been asking around and have heard pretty high reviews about Precision gears. The guy who is going to do the install was recommended for Toyota gear installs and is nearby, so I think it'll be...

I decided to go with Precision gears ... 4.88's w/ master install for a little over 700 with Cryo treatment included
I just got 2 MV1050's off Amazon for $26, so chances are i'll either use both for tires and get an ARB compact for the locker (just for ease of install) or use 1 for locker, 1 for tires
I am going to be getting an ARB air locker towards the end of the summer. I wanted to get a compressor that I can use for the locker and also for an occasional air-up.
My idea was to use a...
Finally got some to work on these (summer job is in Montana)
Cut some 22 gauge sheet metal to cover where the speakers go and started painting
Pic of the door with sheet metal (will have...
