nope...
this is almost like playing russian roulette I think. There's so many things that can go wrong that if things do go wrong up there, you're pretty much on your own and screwed!
life is too precious to want to be playing crazy games like this.

What could possibly go wrong? You have a parachute!
I don't know if I would do it. Maybe if it were a little closer to the ground where you'd have more aerodynamic control.

You think you'll have more aerodynamic control closer to the ground vs high up there? I think I would just poop in my gear and pass out and probably go splat!
Did you see him tumbling? omg I can hold in my guts but that there was something else. That's just too much craziness going on. I think I'll just stay on ground and watch ya'll go crazy!

Yeah, that's what they were saying one of the biggest dangers was. He could go into a spin and the g forces would be so high that he would black out.
At a lower altitude he would have control over that. Plus, bet the parachute would deploy automatically at some altitude.

all those upper atmosphere jumps have a backup parachute hooked to an altimeter, so that if the jumper passes out and doesn't pull the main chute he still has a chance of survival.

True. I also read somewhere that when he jumped he did a set number of barrel rolls to reduce the chance of going into a flat spin. Flat spin would result in passing out. Even with an automatic 'chute they said it wouldn't deploy correctly or work if he was in a 300 rpm flat spin.
Flat spins killed goose from Top Gun, must be dangerous.
