If I had to go to the Stan I wish I could bring my 4Runner.
I'd also have to grow my hair out a bit and get a shemagh to get the GQ look.
What happens in the desert, stays in the desert. Good luck with your clunk Bob.

CJM,
Yeah last night I was not able to get down to the car due to a late work day and I had some other chit to do. I plan on checking everything including the BJs and tie rods.
Lance: I did lube the driveshaft with some NGLI-2 compatible lube. The front part of the DS had plenty of lube. I could hear it barely eeking by the seal with only 3 pumps. Oh i did buy a grease gun from Harbor Freight 2 wks ago because I couldn't find mine.

LOL, you guys are truly the Lords of Gayness. As for the pics and captions, this means war!
Ken...you have a folder for just me and Lance? Freaky man, just freaky
and worthy to note yet again: you rump raiders always manage to jack up my threads. i'm surprised ken hasn't posted a pic of a bastardized toyota truck yet. butt pirates, all of you!!!
If you posted more often Bob, this wouldn't happen!
Is the sound produced when you put it into gear or when you take your foot off the clutch? Could this possibly be a transmission issue?
My money is still on a bad trans or motor mount (or both, they are pretty old...)
2005 Lexus LX470 - Stock for now...
1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 + a bunch of goodies. Lifted, Locked, Illuminated and Armored. Winner,"Best Offroad Truck" - 2010 Pismo Jamboree. It's been upside down and still drives me to work.
Thank goodness for cheap digital storage. I anticipated a war so be warned. Bob you can post all day long but once you start mentioning BJ's, hanging upside down pumping your legs, filming yourself alone with a grease gun and shaft wiggling I can assume it's fair game.
^^^Ha!
