HUD - Heads Up Display Dashboard Mounted Windshield Projector

    Check this gadget out!

    https://www.navdy.com/

Ain't cheap by any standard but it does look promising. Kinda in line with the Garmin HUD

Looks like the biggest difference is the Navdy has an obd2 connector whereas the Garmin doesn't look like it does. Regardless it ain't cheap but does look kinda cool.

Just seems like it'll be too distracting but that's just me. Not that my iPad, iPhone, radio, A/C and ham radio isn't already a distraction.

You had me till the total! I figured it wouldn't be long before someone came out with a well thought out way to communicate while driving....although there are some people who are still going to mess this up. Cool device!

That looks pretty cool and useful. Me being the cheap person I am, I'll probably wait until they become standard on whatever car I buy in the future.

On a side note, the website design is pretty neato and the video was entertaining.

    Awesome Gadget. Price is yikes!
I will have to agree with Steve on this one, I'll wait till it becomes standard :-)

I would be curious though to see how it would sit in the Camry or Matrix, I sit relatively straight up and even in its lowest position both vehicles feel like I am sitting in the 4Runner.

It wouldn't work in the 3rd gen Runner, not the with the small dash and how I sit in my truck (I honestly feel my parents and I are the last few people that don't sit in the 'gangsta lean' position....)
