    And counting!

We only have two but they are a handful and any trip results in much cargo. We recently traded in my wife's Subaru wagon for a Honda Pilot. It will seat 8. We usually travel with 4-6 people so the extra room will be nice for legs and cargo.

Haha. My wife wants six! We're not in a hurry though. We'll see what happens. My twins are 12, then the boys are 2 and 3 1/2. Kids are awesome! We would like to say we're done with the 'minivan' thing, so we got this LC.

Finally got a Toyota 4x4 back in my driveway! I've been looking for the right Land Cruiser for a little while. I came across this one on craigslist, a couple weeks ago. It was built by Rocky at Marlin Crawler, who eventually sold it to his brother, Ryan. Ryan sold it to the PO, about a year ago. It was used for wheeling with his grandkids, and hardly any highway use. It has 152,000 miles on it, currently.
    Now that's a nice find!

    Looks great!
We are on our second 80 series as well.

First was a 96 Cruiser that got totaled, and now its a 97 LX450. No wheeling mods though, so says the wife. It IS technically her ride, so I guess I will have to listen.
She is open to some mild overland mods, but its mostly a road tripper, even at its miserable 12mpg.

Thanks guys. Not planning on doing too much highway driving with this thing, so the MPG's shouldn't hurt too bad. My wife will eventually drive it daily. It might go 10 miles a day at that point. Looking forward to getting it dirty!

Picked up a stack of spares today. The best two will replace my two that have pretty deep gouges in the sidewall. One more for the spare, and the others will be stored, in case I blow a tire down the road.

I also talked to a buddy with 37" Coopers, on 17's. He's going to be selling them in a couple months. I might pick them up too. Then I'd have an excuse to buy some beadlocks!
