Go to a welding supply. and if you cant find 2G go "0". At the welding supply shop it will probably be cheaper than at your local stereo shop, but it wont be in pretty colors, most likely just black.

And don't tell my buddy (who owns the local stereo shop) that i sent you to a welding supply instead.

I agree go to the welding supple shop and you will be very happy in the end with the better wire.

OK here is the exhaust..... i usually run it like this (open) i hate my neighbors and like the way it sounds

here is the muffler, it is sleeved so it slips on to the rest, and it has a clamp to make it legal or hush it up a little bit

and here is a pic from the front, none of that is bolted in just ziptied in place for the picture....

ENGINE IS IN!!! AND CONNECTED TO TRANNY!!!!!! now i just need to bolt it all down

    Re: Buildup of Jimbo74's Xcab

well, the build has been halted until after the wedding...... i dont have the time or the $ to do anything....

    on a side note....

i might be getting a new truck, it runs but the CEL comes on everyday--my parents dont wnat to deal with getting it smogged and reregistering it, its current until the end of august

It’s a 96 xlt 4x4 explorer 4dr, its been In the family since at least 98, was bought used from a realtor (my dad’s bosses wife @ the time) that upgraded. Leather interior, truck now has a lot of mileage, heads and upper end rebuilt @ 110k because my mom overheated it and cracked the heads…. 3.73 LSD d4, 8.8 c-clip rear end 31 spline axles with disc brakes, pushbutton 4x4 (well rotary switch on dash) good condition 235/75/15 bridgestone dueler, not the at, but hl I think is the model. Tranny went out and was replaced once. My dad said it slipped once on him after the rebuild but has been fine since…. The 4x4 works sporadically…. A/c is still cold, heater still blows hot. CEL triggers almost everyday. Truck needs to be smogged to be registered

Truck has all the options, power doors, alarm, windows… my mom decided to try and pass a bobtail, that wasn’t stopped and the rear door is crunched, but it didn’t touch the fenders or anything, door still opens and window still rolls up and down. Dings here and there, but it is 12 years old

it said o2 bad, we replaced the 02, code came back, we think it’s the cat now, as truck does have a bit of mileage on it. I think there are 3 o2 sensors on the truck… I might just replace all the sensors and the cat. Shouldn’t cost too much….

    Re: Buildup of Jimbo74's Xcab

didnt get it running, but it is seriously close, we got the starter wire hooked up, fan clutch in, radiator in, got it filled, res tanks in, bolted stuff on the walls down, dizzy in, oil in

all that is left is drain the tank, refill with new gas, new gas filter, and find my spark plug wires where they are, and try to start it up....

oh yeah, and i need to charge the battery, its been dead so long, it jsut stays at like 8 volts, enough to run lights and hte horn, but it wont come close to starting, ill probably need to jump it....

rob! do you have an extra set of wires?

then we need to change out all the fluids, tranny, diffs, tcase, and bleed the brakes again, i also have an eclip i need to put on the ebrake cable... install seats, put the door back on, put in a seatbelt, and find some body mounts and bolts for the bed, tailgate, lights

swap out rims, have some tires with chrome d windows
