The mammoth hot springs are close to laurel lakes. Remember where we were headed south on 395 and then turned off to the right to get to the trail head? Well, turn off to the left instead on Hot Creek Hatchery Rd. Follow the dirt road for a while and there will be a bunch of dirt parking lots. The up stream parking lots are for fly fishing but the downstream ones will lead to the hot springs. By the way, that is a world famous fly fishing stream.
I told you guys to go to schat's last time . Also in bishop is a pretty big beef jerky place. It's toward the end of town and on the right if you're headed north. Be sure to hit all the sporting goods stores in Mammoth too. Lots of times at the end of the season they'll put everything on sale. I've gotten a lot of killer deals on things.
