Well my hats off to you guy's for getting that out of there!! I am just a little curious, how in the heck did you get that down there besides rolling over about 10 times?? Did you just get off the edge of the trail or were you actually trying to get to the bottom of that canyon?? and I couldn't really see any trail to follow, I hope you were practicing "Tread Lightly" manovers.... copy and pasting this from the other thread. . "this place is bad terrain and has no forgiveness just cliff's on either side, he got a good 25mph with no brakes before deciding to just turn right for the greenery instead of going over any of the other sides."

Don't know how I missed this thread for so long. I'm sorry this happened. I can't help but apply the 'all for one and one for all' maxim more often associated with The Three Musketeers; a novel written by Dumas.
It's good to see one in need aided by his brothers. It is right to see the fallen runner extracted by fellow runners and escorted to the trailer. It's nice to be associated with folks as willing and able to help as y'all.

Seen this vid, and thread, and pcitures before, but now that it has resrufaced, I want to once again give my thanks to you guys for showing what kind of community we have!! Excelent work...
Only thing I might have done differently, is winch with the hood up... Have a spotter out to the side to watch whats going on, but if've got the hood up, it gives a good stop for a broken cable before it snaps back through a windshield or something... Just a thought.

Only true if it was a steel cable, synthetic line reacts differently when it snaps, there was no safety issues with this pull.Originally Posted by 04 Rocko Taco
