Yeah, I missed that ranger incident. As I was driving up I wondered why that ranger-looking guy was just down at the staging area watching. Oh well.
By the time I got there, Bruce had repositioned the 4Runner to pretty much make it a straight shot up the hill, backwards. Between the two of us, the process was pretty smooth.
It didn't start unfortunately...severed ignition wires....but with some careful towing and achoring, we got it back to the street.
Well done Bruce and Charles. You guys are standup sorts!

Here's Charles acting as the brake man bringing it down the hill, one of the electronic boxes got torn apart, preventing us from getting it running.
Finally got it to the highway, where I waited til his buddy showed up with a tow dolly. Note how well the roof held up after rolling over around 10 times.
