    WTB: 5 Spoke Limited Wheels

Looking for a set of 4 (or 5) 4Runner Limited 5 spoke wheels. I have a set of 16x8 FZJ80 wheels (without center caps) in good condition I'm willing to trade.

This is the type I'm looking for:

I have 4 x Limited wheels w/ lugnuts and centercaps from my '01 if you are interested. Not interested in a trade though.

I'm a bit partial to those sport rims myself.
Might want to post up a price on them for everyone looking.

I like those too but I think I really want "THE" 5 spoke rims. Thanks anyway.

Re: WTB: 5 Spoke Limited Wheels

Then you want the Sport wheels, not the Limited wheels.

I always thought it was the reverse.
Aren't those the sport wheels in the pic above?

    I though it was....

    Limited (aka "5-star rims"):

    Sport (aka "coke bottle rims"):

Not unless they changed styles pre-2001. I bought my Limited new in 2001 and it came with the wheels in the picture I posted.

Hmmmmmm.....well, I don't want to hijack Garret's thread so maybe we'll start another thread to discuss it.

Re: WTB: 5 Spoke Limited Wheels

I'll settle this, those rims came on both sport and limited.....

The earlier "5 spoke" came on Tacoma's as well, not too sure about the new one's.....

I've always been partial to the 5-star, simple yet stylish, in fact I have 2 complete extra sets + a spare, and 5 others that are beadlocked, yep got 14 of them rims....

Re: WTB: 5 Spoke Limited Wheels

5 stars came on sports and limiteds from 99-00 and some t100s also, were only on the sr5s from 01-02, non sport nor limited.

Garrett, you can prob find some at a salvage yard and prob get some serious deal on em i talked this one place into giving me four rims for 100 bucks all together, just havent picked them up yet.
