Yes, they fit with no lift, but yes they do rub when turning.
Rubbing is relative, some like it some don't, I can deal with it in this case. It only rubs at about 95% turned. It's something that I got used to and have had no issues with over 30k miles on them.
The extra height is excellent, noise isn't bad at all, wear is what one would expect from a M/T tire.
Going from stock to these tires, there was quite the loss of power, however I still manage to use 5th gear every day and without my camper on I can get 20-22 mpg.

They are pretty darn good on snow, ice isn't horrible, but you can get them studded (my next winter set of tires). Mud, they tear it up. Air them down and they handle rocks quite well.
I'd suggest these tires for those that are looking for a nice tall narrow tire for 16" rims.
My next set of 255/85's are going to be the BFG MT. I've heard they are really nice in that size and figure I'll try them out.
