    From the reading that I have done these are now an open season target for Rangers and they are really easy to spot with the caps that don't screw on. Which sucks but I imagine the fine is considerable.

    Great price though for those not in Cali. Although I am sure the laws will be in other areas of the Country soon enough also.

    these are great alternatives but if you want to screw cap ones you'll have to buck up on the scepter cans.

    do these leak at all? i have a scepter from grainger with the screw on cap, but if these done leak when i lay em sideways on the roof rack then it wouldnt be a bad idea to pick up some.

    as long as the seal is good you can lay them down any way you like...

    Here's my current set up with a NATO can.



    This pic is from my Scepter Can thread. I'm very happy with my current NATO can. It seals perfectly and I wire the lid down just in case but it really has a force on it to stay shut. The pour spout on the other hand sucks! But that I've already complained about that on the other thread
