    Ya should have sent your pieces cut and ready for welding and I would have welded them up for ya and coated them.

    What size hardware did you use ? If your not gonna run a center brace on 8" shackles then I would up the hardware.

    Here's mine (not to hi-jack anyones thread). Buggy style. Notice I milled the bottoms to fit the chevy springs.

    Since the rear weight of your rig is acting through the shackles, it would be a bad idea to drill a hole through the middle of them. It'd make them a whole lot weaker. If you want to brace them, it has to be with a welder

    Sorry guys, these did get welded up and installed on the rig, no problems as of yet!
