Thread: Operation E-Locker install

    Re: Operation E-Locker install

I am running stock birfs for now. I figure with 33's and a selectable locker I will be ok. I do carry 2 spares with me just in case.

I just need to finish up the welding, drilling, and tapping then I can put my ride back together. I ordered and e-locker skid from Sky, and I plan on having 12voltguy build the harness and custom switch panel.

I am also going to install my winch....I need to get it all done by X-Mas.

Dont worry Bob, I got the grey RTV

    Re: Operation E-Locker install

Got a lot done today. The part I thought would be the hardest was no big deal. Today I had my buddy weld a bead where the long studs go, I filed the down, drilled the holes, and tapped them. I guess I got them pretty straight, because it went together very smooth....

Nevermind the mess I made with the RTV

Now I just need to remember how everything goes back together

    Re: Operation E-Locker install

Today I "got er done" With the exception of a stripped steering arm stud and the harness for the electrics my e-locker install is done

I was thinking about getting rid of the brake backing plates, but with no where to run the brake lines, I opted to cut the stiock backing plates (thanks Pirate4x4)
