2nd Gen dash speakers.

I was wondering if you could mount 5 1/4 speakers in the dash, or does it have to be the 4 incher's? Thank's.

How deep are those front dash box's?

I'm not sure, but my front ones have bit the big one lately. I'll have to get some new ones soon I think. I'm trying to remember from the last time I had the dash apart, but I kind of think that there isn't much room there for bigger speakers without cutting something. But, that is just off the top of my head, mine are still stock.

Mine are stock also, and both are blown.. Time for a change.

I just installed an amp a few months ago to go with the Infinity Reference speakers I have front and back. There really isn't much room in there to go over 4", but I'm sure you could squeeze something in there with some work.

so the refrence 4" is good to go in those front box's? I was afraid the speaker would be too deep. Thank's treben!
