    Re: UltimateYota.com's Biggest Loser Contest.

Best of luck to all who enter. Hope you guys can reach your personal goals.

Just a quick (relatively) side note. Losing weight is a challenge for most and for some it can be very difficult. Please go into this knowing that it doesn't happen over night and requires time and commitment. Some of you may do just dieting, please eat correctly and keep your water intake up. Some of you might combine working out in a gym. If you do plan on doing a weight program, you could see a increase in weight. Muscle weighs more than fat.
If one week you lose 5 lbs and the next week only 1 or 0, don't get discouraged. The contest duration of 3 months is a good amount of time to see some gains towards your goals, I hope that after the 3, if you haven't reached your goal, you continue to strive for it afterwards.

Again, best of luck to all the participants. I look forward to following this as it progresses.

I know what you mean about the gaining weight. Starting half way through last semester, I decided I might as well take advantage of the free gym while I could. I haven't lost any weight on the scale but I have gone down a few inches on my waist size. Gotta be the fact that I've started lifting weights a lot more and have seen some pretty good results. Good luck to everyone...
