the ride was bad because the shocks i used. i couldnt reuse my old shocks like i planned due to rust and i was half way through installing my lift so i went down the street and bought some junk $50 monroe shocks. knowing what i know now i would run the blue, black, or green tokico shocks which ride great and only extend so far so they prevent excessive droop, which kills cv's. www.sonoransteel.com is where i got most of my shock info from.

The OME kit should consist of front and rear coils and shocks.

    Re: Lift Question

If that's all it consists of can I buy the components separatly? It would be cheaper to buy the components separatly.

    Re: Lift Question

you can buy anything you want seperately. i pieced my lift together when i first did it. now i am selling it all off as fronts and then as rears. the cheapest i have ever found for new parts is toyota of dallas. they are awesome. but, don't count out the slightly used parts out there. you can find awesome deals and have a lift in your truck for under $300.

    Re: Lift Question

Are you planning on running the bilstein HD shocks or 5100 model?

Does anyone have anyexperience with these:
    5100 fronts Fronts: BE5-D558-TO

And for rear bilstein 7100 10 inch stroke 24.29" extended 14.06 compressed
    AK7110SB Short Body Reservoir

EDIT SS 1.2 and 7.2 LIFTS NOW USE 5100 series bilsteins

    Re: Lift Question

I've been doing a lot of research and I think I've decided on the OME. One question though. Do I need the coil spacers for it? Will I be fine with just the front and rear shocks and coils?

    Re: Lift Question

spacers are not required with ome front springs. although i have heard of those front springs sagging with an arb bumper or equally heavy bumper. thats why i personally wouldnt go that way, but all springs will sag somewhat with more weight.
